Skills Explorer! ®TM

Developing Employment Opportunities through Learning

Skills Explorer! ®TM is designed to develop Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills for adults.

Developed by Colleen Holmes Learning and Development, the Skills Explorer! ®TM is an interactive eLearning platform that delivers learning based specifically on the needs of the individual. Combined with real human support, Skills Explorer! ®TM  features over 200 courses that can be mixed and matched to the learner’s specific needs.

Learning pathways can even be contextualised to a variety of industries such as hospitality, retail, construction, marine and office administration.

How Skills Explorer! ®TM works

We refer to our users as ‘explorers’. Upon registration, each explorer is assessed to evaluate their LLND competence. Depending on their goals, competencies and industry requirements, a tailored learning path is created specifically for that person.

Skills Explorer! ®TM simplifies, entertains and enhances learning. Explorers are given tasks that enthuse them, regardless of their proficiency, to fuel their passion for learning.

Progress through the learning path is easily monitored by the explorer or a ‘supervisor’. With real-time feedback from quizzes, explorers are given guidance on how they can improve or how to resolve any issues.
